So, this is a very unusual journal that I am writing, as it is a time of real change here at Mantra. Six years after we launched the brand, it is time for me to step back from it, and pass it onto new ownership.

Happy Spring! March 1st is the first day is meteorological Spring, and I bet you have been looking forward to it as much as I have! Lighter evenings, warmer days, cherry trees blossoming, daffodils blooming, and a real sense that life is starting over again.

2022 is now well underway, and the Covid news is all very positive, with restrictions lifting and hospitalisations decreasing. It really has been a Happy start to the New Year! Long may it continue.

By the time you read this, we will know if we managed to have a ‘normal’ Christmas, seeing family and friends, and enjoying a festive break – or whether the Omicron variant scuppered those plans! As I write this now, I am still planning to spend Christmas up in the Lake District, sharing it with family and having a peaceful time. But who knows what is going to happen over the next week?
