Returns & Exchanges
All faulty goods will be replaced where possible or money refunded in the event that a replacement is not available. Refunds will be made in the same method of payment used for the purchase, where possible. Any personalised items with engraving cannot be exchanged or refunded, so please double check your engraving and call us if you have any queries prior to ordering. Your disc or bar will be engraved true to your order, including lower or upper case and punctuation.
If you simply change your mind about a product, an exchange or refund is available, provided you return the goods in the same condition in which you purchased them, in the original packaging, and with your receipt, within 14 days of the goods being received. We cannot take responsibility for returned items which do not reach us, or which arrive damaged, so we strongly suggest you send returned goods via Royal Mail recorded or special delivery or similar secure, insured method. Mantra does not refund postage costs, for either the original order, or your return of that order, if you have simply changed your mind. Unfortunately, earrings cannot be returned or exchanged, due to hygiene reasons.
Guarantee
Mantra Jewellery comes with a 2 year warranty against manufacturing faults. This does not cover accidental damage, such as catching or pulling your necklace or bracelet; normal wear and tear, such as scratching to the surface, tarnishing to the Silver; the Gold plating wearing off over time; water damage; or breakage through mishandling. Tarnishing (oxidisation) of the Silver can be easily removed with a Silver cloth or normal Silver dip (available from most supermarkets). Please see our full Care Instructions here.
Accidental damage is when the chain breaks because it has been becomes caught on something, such as clothing; or pulled, perhaps by a child. This is not covered by the guarantee. Unfortunately, chains are not designed to be indestructible, so we urge you to take care, especially when putting on, or removing, your necklace or bracelet. Bracelets in particular can be fiddly to put on and take off, as they are a delicate chain and lobster clasp - so please take care. They are not stretchy or elasticated, so cannot be pulled off. We especially advise not to wear your jewellery in bed, in the shower, or when swimming.
If you have accidentally damaged or broken your chain, you can purchase a new Diamond-cut Ball Chain (for Disc necklaces) or a classic Trace Chain (for Symbol necklaces) here.
Please contact us if you have any problems with your jewellery, on hello@mantrajewellery.co.uk.
Who should wear Mantra, and where?
Most of the Mantra Jewellery collection is adult jewellery, designed for wearers over the age of 16. However, we do also have a small range of children's necklaces, aimed at children from 8 years upwards, which are on shorter chains. All of our jewellery has small parts, such as clasps, and all pendants hang on a chain, which could represent a choking hazard, so care must be taken when it is worn by children.
Mantra Jewellery should not be worn in bed, as it may represent a choking hazard if it gets caught up in the bedding. It should not be worn in the bath or shower, or when swimming; and should not be exposed to chemicals, salt water; or any make-up, creams or perfume, as this will dull the metals and could cause the Gold-plating to wear off.
Where is Mantra made?
Mantra Jewellery is all made in Thailand, which is a centre of excellence for the production of Sterling Silver jewellery. We are committed to ethical practices, and work with an excellent workshop which is fully accredited.
Product Composition, Hallmarking and Safety
Mantra Jewellery is principally adult jewellery, aimed at wearers over the age of 14. We have a small collection of children's jewellery, for wearers over 8 years' old. The jewellery is made of 925 Sterling Silver and fully complies with the Dangerous Substances and Preparations (Nickel) (Safety) Regulations 2005. All Mantra Jewellery items conform to the 1973 Hallmarking Act and all of the precious metal jewellery that we sell carries the legally required independent hallmark which verifies the metal content (unless the item is exempt by weight).
