'I am strong enough to stand alone, but wise enough to
ask for help'
Mantra Jewellery is delighted to be working
with MIND, the mental health charity.
The new necklace is officially launched
today, on World Mental Health Day (Tuesday 10th October), with 25%
of its selling price going to MIND.
The Sterling Silver necklace carries the
powerful word, 'Strength', alongside the iconic lotus symbol, which represents
regeneration and rising through difficulty. The mantra on the accompanying card
is, 'I am strong enough to stand alone, but wise enough to ask for help'.
Many people will experience mental illness in
their lives, or times when they don't feel mentally strong or emotionally
resilient. We want to remind people that they are stronger than they realise,
but also to encourage them to talk about their feelings, and seek help. When
people share their struggles and support each other, life gets much easier and
difficulties more manageable.
MIND supports and champions people with
mental illnesses, working as both support service and campaigning organisation.
The charity has a key aim of encouraging people to talk about mental illness,
by finding the right words, and by removing the stigma.
The 'ask for help' message resonates
powerfully with MIND, whose core belief is that 'No one should have to face a
mental health problem alone'.
The Sterling Silver disc necklace is £45,
with 25% of the selling price donated to MIND (Registered Charity Number
219830). It is also available in 18ct Rose or Yellow Gold plated onto Silver,
priced at £65 - also with 25% donated to MIND.
The perfect gift for a friend or daughter, to
give her strength during tough times; or for someone setting off on a new
venture, who needs reminding of how strong they are.
