There’s something magical about the fairground, full of
nostalgia and romance, I can’t see a Ferris wheel or carousel without reminiscing
of summer romances, youthful days out with friends or treasured moments with
family. I think everyone can remember their local fairground, for me it was
Spanish City in Whitley Bay, the location of many school trips and family days
out, and Brighton Pier, where my Auntie and Uncle live and somewhere I still
visit when seeing them and friends in Brighton.
On a day at the fair you can
embrace your inner child, the
lights and sounds are the soundtrack to romantic films and childhood comedy
classics, here’s my
favourite fairground moments from the movies chosen to fill
you full of joyful nostalgia!

Zoltar speaks in Big
Nothing quite captures my youth more than this film! I think we can all relate to the frustration of being young, of wishing we were older - now it's the other way round! But here he is having his wish come true in this magical film.

You’re the one that I want from Grease
Summer lovin', the Pink Ladies and the T Birds, nothing captures the fun of the fair more than Grease. We however wouldn't agree that the way to capture a man's heart is to change absolutely everything about who you are, unlike Sandy in this film, lol.

Ryan and Marissa share their first kiss in The O.C
This series takes me back to doing my A levels, I loved the escapism of a wealthy family on the Californian coast, the classic relationship between a guy from the wrong side of town and the high school sweetheart - who doesn't love the O.C? Here's where it all begins with Ryan and Marissa!

The Notebook, Noah asks Allie out
I can't think of a more romantic love story than Allie and Noah in The Notebook, if you're ever in need of a little cry this is the go-to film and if you need any other reason, Ryan Gosling is it.

Saving Mr Banks, Walt gets her to ride the carousel
It's tissues out again for this one, the sweet retelling of how Mary Poppins became the film we know and love, well worth a watch to relive the magic of your childhood and the beauty of storytelling!
